Crave the Spoken Word?
Hip Hop? Jazz? Dub?
Help us throw the First Annual, brand new and
utterly exciting Calgary International Spoken Word Festival
(CISWF)!
What is CISWF?
The brain-child of Calgary's one-woman Spoken
Word revolution, Sheri-D Wilson (Artistic Director), CISWF
aims to bring international and Canadian artists to Calgary,
put them on the stage with local artists for local audiences,
and watch the magic and madness fly. We build a creative community,
while showcasing all forms of Spoken Word, the newest and
most exciting form of poetry since... well, poetry! We include
Jazz, Dub, Hip Hop, Videopoems, and so much more.
When do we need you?
